For a Vibrant Jewish Windsor Today and Tomorrow...

Even with the WJCC closed and events cancelled in 2020... we are proud to say that new community outreach initiatives & creative new programs have been developed!

Now, as we re-open and find our new normal, the need for your support continues -
and is perhaps greater than ever!

Your 2020 UJA donation will ensure that we are able to continue running quality Jewish programs and activities.

This is an investment in our future and the continued stability of the community.

How Covid Impacted the WJCC in 2020
In March, 2020 the WJCC closed due to the COVID-19 virus.
It was recently reopened in August, 2020 with reduced hours for limited programming.

Long-standing programs such as Camp Yomee, the annual Yom Hashoah Program and the Friedman Film Festival were cancelled. It is hoped that these will resume for 2021.
18% of funds raised by UJA Windsor go to Jewish Federations of Canada-UIA for programs in Israel and Canada.
The rest is used for programming making the UIA-UJA one of the most efficient charities.

82% of those dollars remain in Windsor to ensure that the programs and institutions
that enrich Jewish life here remain strong for our residents.
